As my Major Project in my final year in University I faced a few issues due to the COVID-19 lockdown happening in Sydney. My original idea was to make a magazine highlighting the incredible individuals around Western Sydney but eventually my idea changed.
After discussions with my tutor and a few of my peers I decided to shift my project to still focus on people, but instead focus on the struggles currently being faced by people due to the lockdown. Still wanting my project to be photography based, I photographed my subjects through my zoom screen - very untraditional, but it worked with my subject matter.
The final outcome of my project was a printed book containing both images and text.
